OP: Eyes and Noses

So as you know I'm working on a OnePiece fan manga. If you didn't well now you do.
I decided I needed to know more about the specific style of one piece. But i'll just incorporate the style with my own a little.

This is were Eiichiro Oda stands out as a mangaka. His style is not really the bold shounen style or even cartoonish. It stands at this middle ground, of both kinda. All of the eyes are thin lined and relatively simple. some are just plain circles. Pupils are small and for the most lack much detail, unless it's a female. The noses are not in a frontward perspective. About 20-25 volumes ago Oda used the nico robin(for the sake of not knowing what else to call it) nose on other characters. Most of the time it's the nose facing one direction. Which I never understood why he did that(still don't), especially when the character is facing forward. But hey, that's his style and it works.

Even though most characters have this same formula they still pop out with "character". Especially Luffy who's facial design is by far the simplest but if not done right doesn't feel like Luffy.

But those are my opinions, feel free to disagree.
